Apologies for the atrocious delay with blogging for the past few months! It has been a little crazy what with finishing 3rd Floor, preparing my professional portfolio for Graduate Fashion Week and endless job hunting! I have actually created a new blog now modemadeleine.blogspot.com which aims to display much more of my own creative work, styling and tips, advice and suggestions for others with ways of styling etc. I shall still visit Take me to Paris occasionally, as I want to keep this as a more personal documentation; whereas Mode Madeleine will be much more industry based, with a more professional outcome! Keep following and take a look at my new creation here!

Today's Outfit
Today I was having a bit of a spring clean of the back garden, as it is going to be a perfect location for a photo shoot I'm styling on Friday for 3rd Floor! As I was doing so I rather thought my newly purchased paper bag shorts (Toppers as per) fitted quite nicely into the run down scenery!

My big 21!!
Well I think this has been the longest amount of time of neglecting the blog!! But there is good reason for this..I have just had my 21st Birthday, where I was utterly spoilt by my amazing friends, family and other half!! Last week I was taken to watch Neyo at the o2 which was amazing!! Then on my birthday I spent the day in London with the Mr where I was treated to the most luxurious stay in The Mont Calm Hotel where the most delicious room service food and champers were demolished, had a slight rampage in Topshop Oxford Street shoe department and purchased some beauties from Carvela and Kurt Geiger...a huge treat! and went to the ICEBAR which was really fun! Then on Saturday I had an amazing party at Club Rosso with all the important people in my life and had the most fabulous night!! Just wish I could do it all again now! A few pictures from the celebrations...

London Fashion Week A/W 2011
So this is an incredibly late post in terms of London Fashion Week news, but I have not had a spare second up until now! I loved every minute of the exhibition, I found so much inspiration and soaked up the overwhelming atmosphere filled with creativity and innovation!! The main focus of attending was to of course source some beautiful garments from up and coming designers for the fast approaching editorials for 3rd Floor publication; which we definitely succeeded in doing! Our 6 editorial themes consist of: Structure, Colour, Metamorphosis, Alter Egos, Reverse Psychology and the Essence of Time which we found amazing creations for each one. We are currently in the midst of contacting designers and arranging for samples to be sent over- very exciting!
Favourite designers seen at the exhibition and who we would love to feature in the publication:
Mary Katrantzou
Meadham Kirchoff
Holly Fulton
Clemency
David Koma
Les Chiffioniers

PURE 2011
On Tuesday, myself and the 3rd Floor team attended Pure & Pure Spirit at Earls Court for a great networking opportunity to spread the word about the publication and to source some interesting designs for our up and coming editorials! There were some really amazing pieces that we would love to feature in the publication, so will be onto contacting PR companies very soon! There were existing brands as well as new up and coming designers which caught our eye with their innovative and fresh creations. It was an extremely positive and inspiring day; now very much looking forward to Moda in Birmingham and of course LFW! Here are a few snaps from the day...
