Insomnia

So yet another sleepless night is hovering over me...I need to sort this out before returning to my 9am uni starts next week- anyone know a cure for insomnia? Perhaps it is due to the fact that I am wholly intolerable to caffeine...yet today I had a sudden urge for a huge glass of coca cola...PLUS my dear housemate bought me up a cup of tea at around midnight...unquestionably not from my de-caf pot....so *sigh* here I am again at 5.30 in the morning, very alert, fast heartrate (caffeine is not my friend) and a buzzing brain!
Following this...one would think it would be sensible to carry on with the uni work I have been doing all day, what with my looming deadline...but apparently not. Hmmm. So I decided to join the world of the Independent Fashion Bloggers to network and promote ye olde blog a bit- you can follow me here or simply click on the icon on the left side of the page...it is fast becoming rather addictive...possibly a replacement of my addiction to twitter perhaps...
Anyway..the main purpose of this post was to document how I am planning to reward myself once this beast of a project and mighty dissertation are both long gone and handed in by the 19th...roll on that date! Of course, I know that this is merely the beginning, and the truly hard work for my final major project is still to come- but hey! A girl deserves to treat herself once in a while! So here is my list:

1. Pamper! Book fresh highlights, manicure, massage- full body! (long overdue) and a facial

2. Shop! As a self confessed shopaholic, I have steered clear of the shops for a good few months now...mainly because crimbo left me broke and due to this hefty work load...but some new items for the new year are most definitely in order...the sales are on and the loan is in!

3. Hit London for a well needed dose of culture and inspiration...I will try my utmost to resist temptation to shop here...this will purely be for visiting some galleries and a spot of sightseeing. I adore London- I'm inspired every time I go there, I find I don't necessarily even need to be doing anything as such; just being in that city, immersing myself with all that's around me is quite enough to satisfy me...

4. Finish my website!!!! must must MUST be done this month!

5. Organise my 21st...it is not until the beginning of March...but I'm not afraid to admit I am quite a diva when it comes to birthdays and like to be fully prepared...especially big ones!

6. Watch 'Coco & Igor' with a large glass of good wine! I received this for Christmas and have not yet had a chance to sit down and enjoy it; I often like to have old black and white or foreign movies playing in the background while I do my work...but this deserves my full attention

There are so many more things I want to achieve by the end of this month but I'm pleased to announce I'm actually feeling sleepy...so this list will have to be continued tomorrow (afternoon no doubt)...

My Crimbo wish list...x

There are so many beautiful things on my wish list right now...a girl can but dream!!
This cream fur bag from River Island is just beautiful!!! I need it in my life...

I adored the first film, 'Coco Before Chanel' and can't wait to watch the sequel exploring the love affair between Chanel and Stravinsky! Beautiful, classy, and romantic!

I have a few perfume favourites that will never get old, but I do love to try a new one at Christmas time...and Tom Ford's 'Black Orchid' is right at the top of my list! It has a very lustrous and sensual fragance..a must
have for evenings out!

Okay...so I know this one is a bit of a long shot...but I am in desparate need of a new laptop...my poor old thing is missing keys and is getting veerrryy sloowww in it's old age..which is extremely frustrating when I have so much work to do. I would LOVE a macbook...but maybe I'll have to wait a couple of months until my 21st for this one.....

Ever since the ice rink has opened at Somerset House I have desparately wanted to go! (even though I cannot skate to save my life- I had to go to a roller disco for a friend's 21st at the weekend..and it was horrific!!) But the view of the beautiful building with all the lights is just a sight that I have to see in my life..
I am loving the Cape this Winter!! I must own one- I think they look so chic and stylish..I love this camel one from Topshop...or I would like a navy one...

I'm a little addicted to fashion books- most of the time I don't actually have the time to read or look at them even...I just have to own them and let them sit pretty on the shelf! This is the latest want to my collection..I went to see the Mathew Williamson exhibition at Somerset House a few months back, and I was so inspired by it! I have always loved his designs so this book would be perfect to keep the inspiration flowing! I haven't come across as beautifully laid out as this in a long time...

This is another I (NEED) on my shelf...simply because I love Vogue- always have and always will. I love seeing how contrasted the covers are from all the eras and comparing them to this decades!

Santa...I hope your reading this...it's not too much to ask right??

Paris...You are my love ♥

As you may be able to tell...I am in love with all things Paris! A true romantic at heart, it is my dream to one day live in this beautiful city and spend rainy afternoons reading poetry in back street cafes...ahh bliss! Untill then, here are some of my favourite images which I have collected, which simply exude romance, luxury and pursue my desire to be French! ♥
Crumbling streets...this image portrays the element of a love story behind it...

One day I SHALL own a pair of these beauts! Louboutin; truly magnificent!
Coco- true style icon

I want to live here!
